The Secret Commonwealth by Philip Pullman. I love love love his series "His Dark Materials" and "The Book of Dust." I actually wrote a college entrance essay about The Golden Compass and Lyra Belacqua.
I have such high expectations for the book, since I love the series so much. I also want to be able to read it without interruption, which is hard.
After working with books all day, sometimes I don't want to read, even for pleasure, when I get home. I was looking forward to reading it on a vacation, but I'm not sure when that will happen now.

I fell in love with Ottessa Moshfegh’s latest book,My Year of Rest and Relaxation, and wanted to read her debut novel.
I actually started this book and had a hard time getting into it, and I got distracted by a few other books in my pile. However, I plan to use the extra downtime I have as I shelter-in-place to finally finish it!
